Probated: 16 March 1848

To my children John Moore, William Moore, Jesse Moore, Henry Moore,
Elizabeth Tribble and David Moore, I sometime since provided for them by giving them the sum of five hundred dollars each to relinquish all their right and interest in my estate. Yet I desire and will that each one of my above named children receive from my estate the sum of one hundred dollars each. The oldest being John to receive his hundred dollares in the year 1849. The next oldest William to receive his hundred dollars in the year 1850, and so on the oldest receiving their hundred dollars first. After all my just debts are paid I give all my estate both real and personal to my wife Rebecca M. Moore and my two children Hezekiah Petty Moore and Gaden Moore. To my wife Rebecca M. Moore one third of my estate and at her death be given to my children Hezekiah Petty Moore and Rufus Gaden Moore equally. To my son Hezekiah Petty Moore one third of my estate. To my son Rufus Gaden Moore one third of my estate. I appoint my wife Rebecca M. Moore and my son William Moore guardians for my two children Hezekiah and Rufus.
Executors: Wife Rebecca M. Moore and son William Moore.
Witnesses: Porter Bibb, Jno. L Lewis, David Blackburn, John Pike.

The following is an abstract from court records.
Cause # 845 - HENRY MOORE, Dec'd Filed 24 Nov. 1880
G.W. and J.J.Moore, Adms.

Appraisers: William Blythe, C. Hussey,and James Lyles......
Ordered, adjudged and decreed 6 Dec. 1880.....
Appearing claims of bills by Estate shown uncollectable to wit:
J.W. Edwards \$50.00, S.A. and P.B. Fowler $7.50, H.C. Stovall $28.93
J.M. Gullett \$10.00, G.W. Francis $ 21.40, Marion Priddy $44.17,
George Emory \$23.80, and that R.S. Thomas did not owe the Estate $19.00.

Heirs and legatees or their guardians, Mrs. M.E. Kelso, Eugene Moore, J.F. Moore,
T.S. Moore, Mrs. Nannie Curtis,G.W. Moore and J.J. Moore.....
